In a specialty where patients travel hundreds of miles for care and face diagnoses that threaten both vision and life, Noor Ali, DMSc, MPAS, PA-C, holds a specialized role in ocular oncology that demands precision, empathy and coordination.
Ali serves as an advanced practice provider (APP) supervisor in the Department of Head and Neck Surgery, section of Ophthalmology at MD Anderson Cancer Center. She holds the selected position of APP Safety Quality Officer. She also serves as the President-elect on the board for the American Association of Surgical PAs (AASPA).
