Offers CME at AAPA Conference

PAHx Become a PA Historian

The Society is excited to offer its first small group interactive CME session during the AAPA Conference in Houston: “Become a PA Historian: Preserving PA History.”

The session will be held Tuesday, May 21 at 2 p.m. Participants are required to RSVP for the event. The session covers the value of saving historical materials, the need for recording their organization’s leadership and historical events, and how to identify what needs preserving. This session will introduce basic archival guidance for documenting your state chapter, PA group, or program’s unique history.

This includes activities such as creating a historical timeline to be published online, writing biographies of important figures in your organization’s history, conducting mini-interviews about crucial events, ensuring special events are photographed and recorded, and much more.
