NCCPA Board Chair Reflects on Tenure

As I reflect on my year as 2025 NCCPA Board Chair, what rises to the surface more than anything else is gratitude.

Gratitude for our profession and the people who shape it.

Gratitude for the communities we serve, both inside and far beyond the practice setting.

Power of PAs
Over the past twelve months, I’ve had the privilege of witnessing the extraordinary breadth of work PAs do every day. Whether you are serving in the military, working in our rural and frontier communities, caring for marginalized populations in our urban centers, teaching and inspiring the next generation of PAs, or innovating in specialties, whether traditional or emerging — your commitment is the force that advances this profession. Thank you for leading with skill, compassion and resilience in every setting imaginable. Our profession is stronger because of you.
