Meet Two PA Ambassadors

Meet Two PA Ambassadors

Meet Janet Rippel, MSPAS, PA-C, and Aaron P. Henry, MSHS, PA-C, two NCCPA PA Ambassadors who champion our profession. Each month, we will highlight new PA Ambassadors.

Janet Rippel, MSPAS, PA-C, practices interventional radiology in North Carolina for Eastern Radiologists, Inc.

“I have been a PA since 2004, primarily in surgical subspecialties. I love to promote our profession because of the ability to change specialties throughout the course of your career – something of which I have taken full advantage. I am excited about optimal team practice and am hopeful it will pass in North Carolina soon. I believe this will increase access to quality healthcare for everyone. I have volunteered with NCCPA since 2015, most recently with PANRE item writing. I was thrilled to receive the invitation to become a PA Ambassador. I have already worked with the local high school to introduce students to the PA profession and I plan to write about PAs in interventional radiology.”

Aaron P. Henry, MSHS, PA-C, is a full-time PA Educator and Assistant Professor in the PA Program at George Washington University in Washington D.C. Henry holds licenses to practice in Maryland and Virginia and has a background in emergency medicine, urgent care and primary care.

“The most exciting thing about the PA profession is our potential to improve the health of marginalized and underserved communities. As a PA ambassador, I have the opportunity to promote health equity and minority representation through community engagement.”
