Meet the PA Ambassadors
The PA Ambassador Program brings together Board Certified PAs who collaborate with NCCPA to offer information, contribute ideas and promote the value of the PA profession.
Meet Jordan Hood, MS, PA-C, and Ted Parker, MCHS, PA-C, two NCCPA PA Ambassadors who champion our profession. Each month, we will continue to highlight new PA Ambassadors.
Jordan Hood, MS, PA-C, practices pediatric orthopedic surgery at Oregon Health & Science University’s Doernbecher Children’s Hospital.
“I look forward to being involved in the PA Ambassador Program to promote and advocate for our profession. I am specifically interested in participating in the Back2School program to educate students about the PA profession as well as improving the racial and ethnic diversity in our profession. I am so grateful to be a PA and enjoy educating the public on who Board Certified PAs are and all that we do!”
Ted Parker, MCHS, PA-C, practices in primary care at UW Medicine in Washington.
“Participation in the NCCPA PA Ambassador program is particularly thrilling because it provides a platform to advocate for the PA profession, promote its diversity, and educate the community about the essential roles PAs play. We are at a pivotal time as our profession is experiencing exponential growth. It is crucial to have exceptional leaders who can steward the profession effectively, both in messaging and impact. It is a true honor to be a PA ambassador and I’m looking forward to the opportunity to connect with the profession’s rich past and contribute to its bright future.”
