Experienced Educator and PA to Lead NCCPA Board with Momentum
As I begin my term as your 2026 NCCPA Board Chair, I do so with a sense of optimism and appreciation for the journey that has brought us to this moment. From my appointment to the NCCPA Board in 2019 as the PAEA nominee, to decades of experience in teaching and academic leadership at Oregon Health and Science University, as well as clinical practice in family medicine, I have been guided by a deep belief in the transformative power of the PA profession.
A Governance of Diverse Perspectives
One of my greatest privileges this year is leading a Board that reflects the full breadth of our profession. Our members bring perspectives shaped by decades in academia and administrative leadership, active clinical practice across diverse specialties, military service, public health strategy and health system governance. This depth and range of experience strengthen our discussions and lead to more thoughtful, well-informed decisions, making it the Board’s greatest asset.
