Celebrating National Hispanic Heritage Month: Hispanic Representation Among PAs Rises
In celebration of National Hispanic Heritage Month (Sept. 15 through Oct. 15), we recognize the significant contributions of Board Certified PAs from the Hispanic, Latino and Latina communities to health care.
The number of PAs who have indicated they are Hispanic is 7.2%, an increase from 6.6% in 2019, according to NCCPA’s 2023 Statistical Profile of Board Certified PAs.
General pediatrics reported the highest percentage (12.2%) of PAs who identify as Hispanic, Latino(a) or Spanish origin, according to NCCPA’s 2023 Statistical Profile of Board Certified PAs by Specialty.
