Why I Volunteer: Renee Little, PA-C
Renee Little, PA-C, shares what inspired her to become a Board Certified PA, the perspectives she gained from volunteering with the NCCPA and her advice for other PAs considering similar opportunities.
Tell us why you wanted to become a PA?
I have been a PA since I graduated in 1999. I am currently practicing as an Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant. I have been in emergency medicine since 2012. While working as a licensed practical nurse in the emergency room, I was applying to medical schools and had the opportunity to work alongside a PA. I was very impressed with the role of a PA, so I decided to explore the profession further. Through my research, I discovered that the PA profession is highly rewarding.
