Meet the PA Teams Bringing Care to Underserved Communities
The nccPA Health Foundation has funded its 2025 Kathy J. Pedersen Grants to Promote Equitable Care: Congratulations to the Emory Farmworker Project and Jodie Guest, Ph.D., MPH; Alexander Kendall, MS, PA-C, and Emi Grill, MPH and UF Health Jacksonville and Lindsey Hollingsworth, MMS, PA-C.
“PAs and their teams bridge gaps by providing education, care, and resources for underserved populations; and this year’s applicants proposed plans to address a wide variety of needs,” said Rick Rohrs, PA-C Emeritus, DFAAPA, SFHM, nccPA Health Foundation Board Chair. “The Board is excited to learn more about its grantees’ efforts to implement scalable solutions that expand access and equip patients to be active participants in their own care.”
